Taking Our Stand

"Like many other people, I have long been appalled by the low quality and continuing deterioration of American education."

Inside American Education
Thomas Sowell, 1993

Every year, millions of Christian parents who feel as though they have no other viable option send their kids into our failed public education system.  The system baits them with a free education, but in reality, it comes at far too high a cost.  The system claims a harmless neutrality, but the ideologies and philosophies being taught there are anything but neutral.  That parasitic system is taking our children by the hand and leading them where we do not want them to go.  Too many children born to Christian parents are becoming children of the system.
A Classical Christian education offers hope to those parents and a future to those children.  The educational process involves a comprehensive determination to form the character of a human soul, including worldview, beliefs, values, convictions, thought patterns, affections, and actions from the word of God.

The educational process itself becomes a means through which the student learns not only his subject matter, but how to apply that subject matter as he lives and worships and serves in this world for the sake of Jesus Christ to the glory of God.

Stand with us...

We must take a stand!  To stand by and do nothing is to abandon the education of our children to Baal while praying that our kids don’t turn out to be Canaanites.  It is an untenable position to take.  Where the battle rages, there the loyalty and the zeal of the soldier is proven.

We must take a stand!   We must open schools, make them accessible, and make them great.  Let that work begin with Christus Victor, a Classical Christian School in East Orlando.

“When we come to the end of our lives and we consider the work that God gave us to do, it is my hope that the education of our children and grandchildren will occupy a central place in our many prayers of gratitude.”
