Vision
“Raising a Standard for Truth…and the Next Generation to Victory”
Standards were often used in Scripture to rally God’s people to a place or cause. In Numbers 1:52 for example, Israel’s armies camped around their tribal standard. In Isaiah 11, the Lord Jesus Christ raises a “banner for the nations” to gather His people “from the four corners of the earth” (v. 12). In Jeremiah 51:27, a standard was raised in the land against the wickedness of Babylon.
With Christus Victor, we have raised our own standard in the name of the living God. Like that raised against Babylon in the days of Jeremiah, we have hoisted a standard for God’s truth in the midst of a land that has turned aside to lies. We would rally God’s people to the biblical cause of raising the next generation as victorious “living standards” for Jesus Christ in our own Babylon. With David in Psalm 20:5, we will rejoice in the salvation of our God, “and in the name of our God we will set up our banners!”

Mission
"Our mission is to impart knowledge, understanding, and wisdom by applying the classical tools of learning to a distinctively Christ-centered pre-K through 12th-grade education; to cultivate delight in rigorous learning that exults in the God of Truth; to graduate young men and women prepared to advance victoriously in a life lived to the glory of God.”
Core Values
"Veritas, Virtus, Venustas"
The Core Values of Christus Victor are representative of three transcendental perfections of God and therefore three transcendental properties of all reality as created by God. Truth (veritas) concerns the mind, goodness (vertus) concerns the will, and beauty (venustas) concerns the heart. Truth is good and beautiful, goodness is true and beautiful, beauty is true and good.
These three transcendental values comprise the realms of epistemology (knowledge or truth), ethics (moral virtue), and aesthetics (objective beauty or excellence). Truth is objective, originates with God alone, and is graciously revealed to man through general and special revelation. Goodness involves acting in accord with what is true. Beauty involves doing all that is true and good with objective excellence to the glory of God alone.
These core values are essential to life, learning, vocation, and worship. God is worthy of an education in pursuit of “veritas, virtus, et venustas.”
